NHS Dentist - New Patients

 

Y7 Parent/Carer Subject Information Evening

The Y7 Parent/Carer Subject Information Evening will take place in school on the 9th May 2024.

The Academy will be open to Parents/Carers from 3.30pm - 7.30pm. Appointments will need to be made online using the School Cloud Booking system.

Y7 Football Final - Date Change

Y7 Football team have made it to the Final of the Spen Valley Cup!

The date of the match has been postponed due to an unplayable pitch. The final will take place on Saturday 11th May against Heckmondwike Grammar at Batley Grammar School.

Kick off will be 11am.

Y8 HPV Vaccinations

Locala will be in school on Wednesday 15th May for students to receive their HPV vaccine. Communication from Locala will follow over the next couple of weeks.

Mock Exam Dates 

Y10 will sit a series of Mock exams in preparation for their GCSE's next May.

The dates of the exams are scheduled from 20th June 2024 - 4th July 2025.

Further information will be shared with students in the coming weeks. 

• For all Huddersfield Centres: Saturday 27^th April 2024: 10:30am – 1:00pm (Last entry 12:30pm)

Potential students can:

• Get an overview of our courses including further education, higher education and apprenticeships
• Get an insight into college life
• View our facilities and join a campus tour
• Speak to our staff and students

Closer to the time of the event, students will be able to book a place online via our website or alternatively they can turn up on the day.

Students attending should make sure that they attend the correct centre for their preferred course.

Stoneacre Motor Mechanics Apprenticeships

We have lots of students interested in motor mechanics. Please see below the message sent to us from Stoneacre.

I am pleased to inform you we are currently recruiting in your area for Auto-technicians.

This would mean studying a level 2 Auto-care apprenticeship.

This recruitment day will be taking place at our Head Office in Thorne on 12^th July 2024 (all transport is provided from the branch in Cleckheaton to Head Office)
